I’ve been here on several occasions, I absolutely love it! While it is darker than an average hotel/motel room, it is very cozy. The location is great. The staff is great! Very friendly and accommodating. Lots of restaurants nearby. I was more impressed with the age and history of the building than worrying over concrete ceilings. They seem to buffer a lot of the city noise.

Overall the room decor was adorable with a lot of Ohio and OSU themed paraphernalia. My only criticism with the room was the lighting. I had to do a full day of video meetings and the lighting in the room was pretty terrible for that purpose. The front desk service was also ok. I certainly appreciated that they let me check in super early. I would say though that some of my other interactions with them could have been more professional, but casual is sort of on brand for the establishment. The food service (for breakfast) at the attached bar was quite disappointing and I would not plan to eat there. That said, the location is great and within walking distance to a number of nice restaurants.

The rooms are not like most other hotel chains these days. Dark materials give the rooms a cozy, intimate feeling. High quality bedding, great blackout curtains, and highly effective HVAC combined to give me some of the best sleep I’d had in weeks. The staff were more than accommodating and the location is perfect for walking to bars, restaurants, coffee, and nearby parks. I’d definitely recommend.

Breakfast in the morning was limited. The muffins were always sold out and there was not much else on the menu. One night my room was not done up. There was a desk with a blotter - stained with a spill that was never cleaned up.

Pretty nice place to stay. A little pricey but its location means you will never run out of things to do and you won't need a car to travel if you uber/take the bus to the hotel. There is valet parking and a parking garage nearby. There is also street parking but it is very unreliable. Plan accordingly. The rooms are clean and the TV is very nice. The trophy room was closed when I stayed but the lobby has a fountain that fills water bottles, and there is an attached shake shack. I would stay here again.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Great ac and quiet room. However for the price, there were no amenities. No breakfast as well as no microwave or mini fridge in the room. No vending machines on site. And no swimming pool. It's really only for the convenience of being right downtown that makes it so pricey. However I would stay there again because it was definitely clean & bug free which is all that truly matters!!

I was thoroughly underwhelmed. Certainly not worth the price of almost $500 a night. The room was dark and stuffy, the ceiling was exposed concrete, the bed was lumpy, the faucet in the bathroom was leaking water, the floor was sticky and I even spotted hair on one of the pillows. I could go on and on. Even for hotel guests, you have to pay $37 a night for parking. The location leaves a lot to be desired. If you are there to eat and drink there are restaurants nearby with many drunks stumbling by the homeless people laying on the sidewalk. There really isn't much else nearby. No parks or grocery stores or interesting things to check out. What a dump.
